ChatGPT Recording Meeting Notes: Complete Guide 2026 — Features, Limits, and Real-World Comparison

"Meeting notes? Just let ChatGPT listen." That's what I told my group members during our first group meeting for our graduation project last semester. But when I got home that night and tried to turn on Record Mode, I found I couldn't — it's currently only available to macOS Team users. As someone with only a personal account and a Windows laptop, I couldn't even see the button.

Tinrec also has summaries, chapters, and action items, but adds two things I actually use: first, the transcript itself is searchable and you can jump back to timestamps; second, results can be exported directly to Notion, Google Docs, OneNote, Dropbox for further editing, or use Agent post-processing to generate reports, tables, and documents.
